If I could give negative stars I would.
We had Our beautiful cat named Shadow cross over to her next life last night. She graced us 19 years and without the staff at CK ER. It would have been much more difficult! They were so compassionate and understanding that this was a very difficult decision! Thank you from the bottom of our heart
Took great care of my baby! Very appreciative of how quickly they worked and how thorough the veterinarian was with our situation and aftercare.
We brought our cat in for an emergency. They were very nice, and the veterinarians were really good. They let us know what was going on and gave us options on what we wanted to do to get him better. We really liked the vet was straight forward about everything that was going on with him. Thanks to them my cat has a fighting chance. I highly recommend this place if your animal is needing help after your normal vet office closes.
First off, the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming. I got the impression that we had inconvenienced her because we needed to be there. Second, the vet tech came out and took my kitty from me and she was also cold and unwelcoming. She held my cat like he was a bag of sand, and when I asked her to carry him so that he doesn't get hurt she turned away from me and said "okay" and didn't adjust her arms for him to sit comfortably.
The people are rude!! The vet couldn't explain what was going on with my dog and was told we are over reacting!!! Gave meds for inflation just as a precaution... If your an animal lover find a place that cares because this place doesn't!!! Will never take any of my animals here ever again.. I will leave an up date once I see my regular vet on what was really wrong him my pup!
The "vet" we saw walked in to the exam room we were in (you are not able to see your pet examined here) and said that he probably had cancer or kidney failure so i of course agreed to blood work and tests because this little kitty is my best friend. The vet came back in after about 35 minutes ( and $415 worth) of running the tests and said that, to his surprise, everything looked good "actually". THEN he said, "you're cat is old and healthy now but don't expect him to be around next year" again, this kitty is my world, we've grown up together, so I inevitably break down in tears. My father who was with me then asked him for a SECOND TIME if he could pull his tooth that was bothering him. The vet said he would look into it, but 10 minutes later the vet tech comes back out and tells us they are through with him. We were too angry at this point to ask about his tooth. We are taking him to his regular doctor later in the week and I will update after that.
****DO NOT BRING YOUR FURRY BEST FRIEND HERE. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING TO TAKE YOUR PET TO THEIR REGULAR DOCTOR. ****
I am 23 and I have had my kitty since I was 6 years old. Clearly I have an elderly kitty. I took him here because his little teeth were breaking and sore and needed pulled so that he could eat. He had lost weight because he couldn't eat like he normally would.
